Hakosuka and Godzilla

Gents, we present this beautiful heritage photo of Nissan GT-Rs.  The grandfather is a  first generation (1969-1972) Nissan Skyline GT-R (model designation PGC10.)   This spec is popularly known as ‘Hakosuka’, a combination of the Japanese word for ‘box’ (“hako” or ハコ) and the pronounced abbreviation of skyline (“Suka” or スカ as in スカイライン or “sukairain”). A total of 1,945 PGC and KPGC10 Skyline GT-Rs were produced.

The Grandson is a sixth generation (2007-Present) Nissan GT-R (model designation R35.)  This spec popularly known as ‘Godzilla’.
