Gents, TFG does its best to bring you the finest of gems in the world of Automotive and Motorsport. The BMW 5-series is a great car, with a significant heritage. Its standing in the automotive hierarchy of greatness falls a bit short of what TFG would typically feature. A BMW M5, however, is worthy of inclusion in the TFG Automotive collection.
The featured photo in this post is that of a BMW 530 iX. It’s particularly noteworthy because of its owner’s attempt to pass it off as a 2012 BMW M5. TFG Rule #5 – Never be a poser, under any circumstances. You either have it or you don’t. If you don’t, then you make the best of what you’ve got, and you make no apologies for it. You also hope and continue working toward that day that you will have it.
No badge is going to substitute a 300 horsepower, all-wheel drive luxo-tourer for a 578bhp asphalt shredding V8 Monster. Apparently the owner has never given thought to the oh so poignant question, “What’s the difference between a 4.0 and a 4.6?” As a result, The first ever TFG “Imaginary Player” award goes to the owner of this BMW.
